These additional classes are open to full-time students only. These classes are NOT required — they are totally optional for students who may want or need to take them, and there is a small cost associated with them to cover books and materials.
Meets: Fridays, 10-11 a.m.
This class is designed for students who want to improve their grammar and mechanics, specifically for in their written work. We will begin with basic definitions and advance to sophisticated sentence structure and analysis.
Meets: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-4 p.m.
For students who love literature! We’ll be focusing on constructions of identity in classic and contemporary novels, including Jane Eyre, East of Eden, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, and Never Let Me Go. Students should expect to read a novel every few weeks and engage in advanced-level discussion and analysis.
Meets: Schedule sessions with Jason
Reserve a private, weekly 30-minute math tutoring session with Jason (in addition to his Friday office hours and quick before- or after-class meetings). This is for regular, scheduled tutoring sessions only, not for occasional math help.
