This activity-based extension of critical thinking is recommended for all students. Students will work individually and collaboratively to understand types of arguments, construct arguments, defend positions, choose evidence, document sources, use logical reasoning, recognize fallacies of reasoning, cross-examine opponents, deliver rebuttals, and critique each other’s work in these areas. Students will also learn how to analyze and test sources, evidence, and logic for validity.
This class is optional and open to full-time high school students only.
