Seminar: The Middle Ages

Seminar: The Middle Ages

This two-week seminar runs from August 6-16. Classes are from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Monday through Friday. (There is no class on Friday, August 17.)

Warm up your brain for the fall semester and bridge the gap between the ancient world and the Enlightenment with this two-week humanities seminar. We'll dive into all the good parts of the Middle Ages, exploring historical events including the Black Death and the Crusades, people including Charlemagne and Eleanor of Aquitaine, cultural touchpoints like morality plays and the legends of King Arthur, and more. Work will be mostly class-based with minimal (if any) homework.
