CLASS FEE: $275
(Your $25 application fee will be applied to your first payment.)

Joy Hakim’s three-part middle school science curriculum helps students develop the critical thinking skills and foundational scientific knowledge they’ll need for high school and college science classes. Students will gain a rich understanding of early scientific theories and ideas, get to know key figures in the history of science, and learn to apply critical thinking skills to science studies. Students will be expected to complete weekly reading and writing assignments (textbook provided) and to complete an end-of-term science project. This class is most appropriate for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. (This is the first of a three-year science rotation, but students can take a single section of the cycle.)
