This summer chemistry class covers a full year of high school chemistry in a two-month compressed semester — so expect to work hard! We’ll focus our intellectual energy on understanding matter, energy, and entropy, and how these components behave and interact with each other. We will explore the periodic table, chemical reactions, solutions, and nuclear chemistry through lectures, discussions, and labs. Supplies and textbooks are provided by the Academy with the cost of tuition; books and supplies must be returned to the school at the end of the course.
