Friday Movie: The Importance of Being Earnest

All students may enjoy the quick-witted Victorian charms of this classic Oscar Wilde play starring Colin Firth and Rupert Everett as Jack and Algy, but students enrolled in the Oscar Wilde lit class this semester may be especially interested in this adaptation. (The Importance of Being Earnest is rated PG; you can read the Common Sense Media review here.)

Friday Films are open to all students enrolled at the Academy in the high school or junior high. We encourage parents to review films to make sure you are comfortable with your student viewing them.
